Manager | Internal Review
An opportunity has arisen for a manager to join this financial services entity to oversee an internal review function. This is a permanent opportunity in Canberra at the EL1 equivalent level.
Working with a high performing senior leadership group, the successful candidate will manage an internal review team. In addition to managing the day to day activities of this team and providing quality assurance with respect to a range of processes, the successful candidate will oversee governance matters, as well as privacy and FOI. Over time, the successful candidate may also support ministerial and cabinet submission processes.
The successful candidate will have experience managing teams, as well as experience transferable to an internal review function; e.g., candidates managing small teams reviewing FOI applications, or candidates with experience of the Scheme for Compensation for Detriment caused by Defective Administration, are encouraged to apply.
Legal qualifications and experience are highly desirable. Current APS6 officers with relevant and transferable experience are encouraged to apply, as are candidates interested in working part time (i.e., 3 days per week), or flexibly (i.e., school hours).
The total remuneration package for this position is $125,000-$130,000.
