Applications are sought from suitably qualified and experienced candidates with at least 4 years post-admission experience in employment law. The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate an extensive understanding of employment law in Australia, as well as experience representing clients before various judicial bodies. A great attitude and commitment to ongoing professional development are essential.
Additionally, the successful candidates must be Australian citizens and be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the NV1/Secret level. The successful candidates must also be able to pass and maintain stringent character and integrity checks and standards, hold tertiary qualifications in law and possess contemporary relevant legal knowledge and experience. The successful candidates will hold or be able to obtain a practising certificate as an Australian Legal Practitioner. Please note that applicants will also be required to account for any significant periods spent living in foreign countries, or regular travel abroad to certain regions.
The annual salary for these positions is between $90,000 and $115,000 depending on experience, plus super and a range of other benefits.
