Stephanie Corish grew up in the suburbs of Sydney, before moving down to Canberra to start university. She has happily called the Inner North home for the last five years.
Having recently returned from a year backpacking abroad, Stephanie is in her fourth year of a Bachelor of Laws at the Australian National University. She has combined this with a Bachelor of Arts, pursuing interests in Development Studies and International Relations.
With a variety of work experience in administration roles, and across Canberra’s hospitality scene, Stephanie has strong skills in communication and customer service, and she enjoys engaging with both employers and candidates to ensure a satisfactory experience is had by all. Priding herself on organisation and efficiency, Stephanie is primarily involved in Gillian Beaumont Legal’s larger scale government recruitment processes, conducting reference checks and assisting in the writing of selection panel reports.
Stephanie has not yet decided what field of work she would like to pursue post-graduation, and so is making the most of her current work, learning about the range of roles on offer in Canberra’s legal sector. In the meantime, she is enjoying being back at home with family and friends, and frequenting Canberra’s cafes and wineries, indulging in the flat whites and Shirazes she missed so much whilst overseas.
